On Sunday, May 7th, many folks gathered at the Freeman Center for Jewish Life at Duke for a wonderful party with a great cause! Thanks to our generous donors and attendees, we raised over $10,000 for the Beth El Annual Fund. In addition to the raffle drawings, scotch tasting, silent auction, and delicious refreshments,we were treated to the rhythmic jazz renderings of the Sawyer & Goldberg Jazz Band as well as a brilliant live auction conducted by members of our very own Boychicks (aka: Artie Axelbank, David Bronstein, Roy Schonberg and Ron Strauss).
