Rabbi Dr. Rachel Blumstein Posner

Before studying to become a rabbi, Rabbi Posner worked as a licensed psychologist and cognitive behavioral psychotherapist for 20 years.

Rabbi Posner was ordained as a rabbi in April 2025 at the Academy for Jewish Religion in New York. She serves as Associate Rabbi at Beth El Synagogue, and has taught classes on Torah and Jewish topics in a variety of settings. Rabbi Posner is passionate about learning and teaching Torah, and nurturing our connections to God and each other. Rabbi Posner loves reading and writing poetry, and being outdoors.
